Tower One by Sacresa will be used as a high-end hotel. The building, designed by Batlleiroig, features perimeter terraces and a second green skin enhancing the sector's verticality and natural character. A modern, welcoming, and integrative space has been designed to foster interaction among various user profiles: students, families with patients at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, and professionals traveling for work.
The building will be managed by aparto, Hines' international accommodation management platform, and will meet the highest sustainability standards (BREEAM Excellent and Well Silver). It is scheduled to open in September 2025.

This 23-story office building totals 20,700 m², designed by GCA Architects. It features a living east and west facade with a double green skin, enhancing views towards the sea and mountains, and acting as a solar filter and sound buffer. Perimeter terraces on all floors aim to create workspaces from a biophilic perspective. The building has been designed with the highest smart building and sustainability ratings, energy efficiency, well-being, and connectivity.
It will have extensive common areas and additional services such as multipurpose rooms, a gym, and parking prioritizing new forms of sustainable mobility, and dining spaces on the lower floors.

Precision Medicine Center
Monographic Center and Administrative Building
Sant Joan de Déu Hospital will have two buildings in Porta Diagonal as part of its Únicas Network, an alliance network to improve care for children with complex rare diseases. The buildings will include an administrative building and a large 13,877 m² monographic center, six stories high and two underground, housing consultations in the areas of neuroscience and genetics, and various facilities for diagnosing and researching these rare genetic and immunological disorders.
These buildings will become one of the three largest complexes in the world dedicated to rare diseases when operational by the end of 2025.
Health BioCluster
A group of companies and organizations in the health and biomedical sector together enhances development in three priority areas:
- Data and Digital Health.
- Personalized medicine and efficient technologies.
- Knowledge Economy.
These zones are located between the Bellvitge Hospital and Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, making Porta Diagonal the epicenter of the area.
Esplugues Innovation Districts
The Esplugues de Llobregat City Council promotes four innovation ecosystems led by urban planner and researcher Ramon Gras, covering medical research, technology, sustainable development, and artificial intelligence. The project envisions creating over 23,000 new jobs and significant development for the city and the metropolitan area.
The Medical Research and Biotechnology Ecosystem 1 includes the Health Innovation and BioCluster, promoted in Porta Diagonal with other administrations and research centers.
